April is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional distress. She has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and relational difficulties across medical, outpatient, and private practice settings. April is especially passionate about helping clients strengthen relationships, improve communication, rebuild trust, and develop deeper emotional connections.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, April is licensed in both Florida (MT4878) and Connecticut (001310). She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University.

Therapeutic Approach

April approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and a strong relational lens. She prioritizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard and supported. Her work is grounded in understanding patterns within relationships and systems, while also incorporating practical tools to support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. Therapy with April is paced to each client’s needs and focused on sustainable growth.

  • General Mental Health & Life Transitions: April supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, identity exploration, grief, self-esteem concerns, and major life or role transitions.

Availability

April offers in-person and teletherapy services in Florida, as well as teletherapy for clients located in Connecticut. Appointments are available on weekdays and weekends, with some evening availability.
