I’m pleased to offer in-person and online personal counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals and couples to address a variety concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, low self-esteem and/or confidence, making difficult life decisions, struggles with assertiveness as well as all of the issues listed below and more. Why should I seek counseling through your practice and not somewhere else?
This is an excellent question! And I must start by saying that I’m a firm believer that aside from working with a trained, experienced and licensed counselor, the single greatest factor contributing to a successful and high-quality counseling experience is the strength of the relationship you have with your counselor. I make the therapeutic relationship, that I have with each of my clients, a priority. I believe that it is through the building of a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, in which you, the client, experience warmth, compassion, positive regard, genuineness, and empathy, combined with a direct yet caring approach, that you experience powerful personal growth and empowerment.

I make it a point to only use counseling approaches and techniques that have been supported by years of clinical research and are considered effective and are respected within the field of counseling and psychotherapy. You can rest assured that the approaches I use have been demonstrated to work!
I combine counseling approaches, pulling from several of the most respected and effective counseling approaches developed. I don’t just stick to one approach or style that best suits me, rather I tailor my counseling approach to the individual and unique needs of each of my clients. I take into consideration what you feel works best for you and matches what you are looking for in a counseling experience.
My education and training are in the field of Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis on the development of therapeutic skill and technique, as a generalist. As a result of my training as a generalist, I am comfortable working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds to address a wide range of issues and concerns.
I offer convenient appointment times that will prevent you from having to take time away from work, school, or other daytime activities. I currently offer evening appointments and am happy to schedule recurring appointments so that you may keep the same appointment time each week that we meet.
I offer secure online video counseling appointments. I’m so pleased to be able to offer teletherapy to those are would rather not have to make a trip to an office location to experience the benefits of counseling. For online sessions, I utilize Telehealth by Simple Practice, a HIPPA compliant and secure video conferencing application, which works on most computers and devices that are connected to the internet and have a webcam.
